One of the gas turbines overheated at Teknecik meaning they had to shut down the power to the whole of the North. They put out a statement that they would be bringing the power back on from 08.30am but still no power on the North coast it seems..

Is this the reason why so few people are on-line?

Is it ever going to come back? I was working at NEU this am but we have a generator and I'm at Malpas now but we also have a generator. If it's still off when I leave here and go home (no generator!), I will not be having my PUKKA pie for supper, and nor will I be able to see Dr Who on Channel 30 at 7pm. (I only recently found this, it's after Rose, and he has a new assistant. Last week it was about Shakespeare and the witches. I love Dr Who!) Msg. 6 - you say you have a generator so no problem!

Small diesel power plant at the fuel depot near Bogaz.

Overall, power cuts are comparatively rare. Have a routine for dealing with them and it's no big deal.

When I moved over I expected to buy a genny, luckily didn't get round to it. Wouldn't dream of it now, as it would be a waste!

Panchocat (message 20)

They have rib of beef in Supreme Supermarket, Catalkoy, well they did have a couple of weeks ago. Make sure you tell him that you want it as a joint because they always try to cut everything up into steaks.

Page 2 Says... The EU is financing the construction of a solar photovoltaic

park of 1 MW capacity.

Anyone know anything about this?

The file must be at least a year old.
