In the past I have been offered free registry scans which have identified hundreds if not thousands of faults in my computer but they would only fix a few unless you paid. Now the trusted AVG company have brought out AVG Pc Tune Up 2011, which you can download and run a complete scan of your system and then you can use the program once to fix all the problems completely - and it is FREE OF CHARGE. I have used it, I had over 4000 problems which were fixed in 40 minutes and the laptop is so much faster now, that I have purchased the program for £33 for two years. It really does work and covers many more things than just registry scans. I am no computer expert but I can see real increase in speed. I have just used the program to optimise my Internet connection and that is much faster too. I would recommend this product to all.

If it is "FREE OF CHARGE" why did you have to pay £33?

I like AVG up to a point but found it was conflicting with other prog's, now use Avast.

I paid £33 to purchase the key to use the program for the next 2 years, having run the free of charge offer because I was so impressed with it. I have and still do use the AVG Free Edition protection and have been very happy with that for over 7 years.

I have just downloaded this AVG and it diagnosed over 7,000 faults, and fixed them. It took hours but think

it worked overnight when I switched it off. Today my computer is much better, and faster. I too would

consider getting the full one as am very impressed. I already had the free AVG anti-virus and it works well.

I have recommended AVG Anti-virus free version to thousands of clients for 6 years plus and found it hasn't 'let me down'

Can you remember what the issue was - as I want to be wary of it ...

Recent versions of AVG free have an annoying habit of trying to get you to install the internet security version - folks using AVG free, with windows firewall and updating AVG free and doing windows updates should be fine - and VPNs will work ;)

Just one word of advice though, I have been using AVG anti virus for a few years with good results. I too paid for the full version and then had a popup to remind me that I had to renew....Which I did.....paid up and everything was tickety boo....a few weeks later I had an email from AVG to say I needed to renew! I rang them only to find out that I had been had and the pop up had duplicated AVG and I had paid this amount to a company is USA.....so be warned that you are actualy purchasing from AVG and not a scam....

I purchased my two year option from AVG UK, there you can, if you wish, register a UK address, pay in Sterling, by Paypal if you so wish or by card and you have an address in I think Norwich UK in case of complaint. So put AVG UK in your browser and look for AVG Pc tune up 2011 and make sure that your selection is from AVG and no one else.
