Hi corbytown. Are you from Corby? We are also from Northamptonshire & now live in Tatlisu. At Seaterra Marina in Tatlisu on Tuesdays there is a BBQ with live music, which is open to visitors (book at Aliye shop). At esentepe Hotel on Wednesdays is Storm. The Time machine at the Fez is Fridays & Saturdays. I believe Kings Bar at Esentepe also has some live music.

hello sunnyday

i have lived in corby for 24 years, my wife sue is from corby. Where abouts in northamptonshire you from ?

We have an apartment right behind the Molous bar and are thinking of moving out there next year.

Regards the live music, thanks alot. We will probably try all your suggestions. The second week we are there we have 2 couples coming out for the week to join us, so we will need to keep them entertained !!

Where is the seaterra marina though ?

Hi Corbytown. We come from Horton (between Northampton & MK), but my sister lives at Brigstock near Corby.

If you keep on the new road, turn left at the T junction, when the new road runs out, by the garage, turn left, just before you reach the sea, turn left (on a tarmac road) & Seaterra Marina is the large complex by the sea.

The best place to eat in the area is Yaman (cheap & good food). Follow the old road towards Kaplica (its only just out of the village).

Moulos apparently do a buffett @ 30YTL on Wednesdays & Saturdays, but we haven't tried it yet.

Stanley, Time Machine wouldnt be the tribute band with the 'time machine' that they go in and out of re-appearing in different clothes would it?

If so I saw them at Pine Bay Club a couple of years ago, brilliant!

Hi mysteron, check out this look at the bottom right hand side, Time Out http://www.cypyp.com/ my favourite in that area is Charcos in Alsanancak, also the Stumble Inn Lapta which I think should be open when you arrive HillsideResturant is good to plus many more in that area. Might even see you in the Hotel as I wil be coming in to watch "The Famous Glasgow Celtic " playing in The Champions Leauge.

Hi,

The Old Grapevine on the Coloney hotel road, is good for music on a Thursday night. The music is good and the food is fantastic, we strongly advice a visit even if it is just for drink.

If you have any queries just let us know.

Hopefully see you while you are over. Thanks x

I'd always recommend Anti's Taverna on the beach in Ayios Georgios/Karaoglanoglu. Great Cyprus food, music and dancing at a good price and mercifully few Brits.
