Would anyone know what type of router would be needed so that a telsim dongle could be used to create wifi so that more than one laptop at a time could be used. Any ideas on cost and where to buy would be helpful,Thanks.

I'm no expert but you can get 3G Routers which sounds like it would provide what you want. See link for a 3 G router although I guess you will need to ensure it is compatable with your 3G card

More expensive, but I've used one and recommended 'em - EASY to set up and gets GREAT reviews:

Both - I should hope... The 3G router doesn't care what dongle you use.. it merely converts any connection you get to allow it to be shared on your network.

That's great to know. I've been asking Telsim and they keep telling me it's not possible to do.

Can someone tell me please - if I buy one of these and get it posted out here, do we have to pay customs charges and what are they likely to be?

thanks.

It is possible. Only modems can be locked, not routers.

They just want to sell device by themselves at double price.

Custom duti is 30%. I do not know if they will ask you to pay it or not.
