For those that have asked for details. And asked why

Firstly though thanks to Maxine for sewing the seed, Steve for the early walks, , Amanda who has banged out a lot of miles with us, my wife Karen as usual with her support and finally Simon agreeing to do this with me who has worked extremely hard past few months.

We intend to walk from Karpaz Peninsula to Sadrazmakoy Peninsula Hugging the coast

16th Nov 06:00 Karpaz to Malibu beach 27 Miles

17th Nov 06:00 Malibu beach to Kaplika 24 Miles

18th Nov 06:00 Kaplika to Turtle Bay 24 Miles

19th Nov 06:00 Turtle Bay to Karsiyaka Square 25 Miles

20th Nov 06:00 Karsiyaka Square to Peninsula 14 Miles, Hope to finish by Midday see you there?

For the people that showed interest in joining us obviously it’s a bit late now, however if you want to walk during any of the stints we are doing we would appreciate your company, The first 2 days of the walk will be basically remote areas therefore all supplies will be carried by us approx 10 Ki

The first 2 days of the walk will be basically remote areas therefore all supplies will be carried by us approx 10 Kilos each mainly water, a challenge in itself

The hardest day for us is the 4th day Turtle Bay to Karsiyaka Square 25 Miles all road, any support that can get us through this will be great. If you happen to be about and see 2 rather large men both in excess of 16 Stone wearing silly hats and Rucksacks shout, smile or toot.

i wanted to do the coast to coast walk along north cyprus next year ...think it 220k ish .



anyway i enquired and sadly next year they said they wont be doing ,but will year after .

The Poppin is on the right of the main road about 3 minutes before the actually turning up to Esentepe Village (assuming you will be coming from the Tatlisu direction?)
