Has anyone downloaded IE9 if so you will find that the status bar has gone, couldn't find my favorites, view, edit, or files, the only way that you can get the status bar to come up is press the Alt on your keyboard, the status bar appears and then you can use it, but it disappears again after a short time, or if you click on the web page, as it's the Beta version I hope they get it right on the full version of IE9, it looks ok, but I love Linux, Linux Mint 9 with Firefox a great operating system, and comes with everything you ever wanted, and free,

Robert,

some of us gave up being 'guinea pigs' for Microsoft a long time ago.. installing Beta versions is akin to saying, "I am cool - I have the latest stuff and who cares if it means I'll be up all night reinstalling everything once in a while" ;)

Yes I know what you mean, but I just love to experiment with Microsoft and see how bad it is, and try to keep up with the times, but mostly it's rubbish and you revert back to the operating system that works for you, Mac or Linux,
