Dear forum members and Cyprus44 visitors,



I want to inform you that I will be doing my military service for 3 months and will have very limited access to my computer.



I will not be able to reply to your emails or participate on the forums.



I will be back at the end of October.



Please feel free to inform other members who may be waiting my input during that time.

Oh Izzet, I am so sorry, but we are having a party on here while you are away... Oh Gosh the website is going to be totally wrecked by the time you get back!!



I will take responsbility for washing the floors before you get back, can somebody else do the window cleaning, the gardening, etc etc???

Good luck Izzet, our friends son has been in for 3 months now, he has to do the 12 months, and is keeping a diary of his experience in the army. He has allowed me to read the entries so far, but I got a bit fed up...

Day 4 "I told them I could not read the test questions because my Turkish is not

To continue, My turkish is not too good (to be fair he lived in London for the first 15 years of his life).

Day 5 "Not much better today"

Day 6 "Thought about mum a lot today"

Day 7 "Discussed running away with my mum, and she said where are you going to run to? Because you're not coming home!!"



It gets better, the last entry was when he found out where he was going to be posted, and it is near where his girlfriend lives, so there has been no more entries - obviously found something better to do than write a diary. I don't think it will be published, so you read it here first, and last.
