Help, problems with internet connections !

Hi, most of you know that I am not that good with this laptop and internet knowledge and I need some help..something strange is going on with my laptop and connections. I will try to explain..sometimes not always but when I go onto my bookmark pages it keeps saying web page not found..on all of them and after a while when I go back to them everything is ok again..My facebook. email account and 44, all seem to be going crazy tonight, on one moment then nothing ! Is something going on with my internet connection because I can not think of why it would be playing up like this, How would you know if you have been hacked what would be the signs and would that be whats going on ? or is it just something simple like my tel.sim dogel playing up. Thanks for all your help.

same problem in Ozankoy - mega mega slow and then times out "web page not found". Have tried the speednet test etc. but no difference. I did complain to Turkcell the other day and they said poor connection was because ozankoy would not allow a mast. Can't even Skype these days..., My problem is we are now in a 12 month contract for something that is next to useless here. I am on Windows 7 if that makes any difference....

me too cant get my emails, so if anyone has sent me emails i apologise. I have lost 44 several times today and had to re sign in . Skype cant even think about it. Dropped 7 times in 10 minutes to my sister today in australia. She said it never happens only when she calls me x

Thanks for that, I have always been happy with tel.sim provider to date. what about the other question as to how would one know if you have been hacked or not. what happens if anything to your screen, guess it would soon let me know ! thanks to the both of you.

All TRNC ISP's tell blatant lies. If you have land or live in a high apartment block offer Turkcell a free plot to install a mast in return for free Internet access. Anyway, that's all bollocks as Turkcell G3 works through their mobile network so if your mobile works so should your Internet connection! They've got your money so why should they care? No VPN connection through Extend for the last week, told me it wasn't blocked but never phoned back, as promised! Surprise Surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks but how strange that just now I put 44 down low..thats what I call it low, went into open firefox and also my emails account as I had message that I had received an email and I could not get onto either but 44 is still going ! cant work any of it out tonight ) How can you have one without all the others ?

Not always the case Richard, Yes it does work through their mobile network but on a different band. UMTS/EDGE/HSDPA

Many times I've had down time on 3G but my Turkcell mobile has still been working.

I spoke to my sister for a good hour earlier tonight (about 5.30ish), no problem at all. Then a couple of hours later I couldn't access the internet at all. I spoke to Telsim customer services and they confirmed there were problems they were looking in to and all should be ok again in around an hour. It was. I've been logged back on again for the last hour or so without any more problems.
