Has anybody lost a German Shephard Dog recently

The most beautifu, and certainly well cared for one arrived on our door step today. Its around 8 months old, silver chain type collar, but no name engraved . Looked bewildered and scared to begin with but soon made its self at home. Gentle nature, but very scared of the main road. Anyway if someone has lost him We have him in the kennel at the restaurant where i will keep him for a day or so. After that I wont be able to keep him as we still have Tess to find a home for. My number is 05338336911. Please let him belong to someone.

Lilli have you ever thought you are wearring the wrong perfume or something. No,only a poor joke, well done to you for all the work you do with these lovely but unwanted animals.. hope someone claims this latest one,but like you, not holding my breath.

I seem to be seeing a lot of well fed dogs with collars on roaming the streets at the moment. Where are they all coming from and why. I know it's the hunting season, but a lot of these dogs don't look like hunting dogs.

It`s a lot to do with ex pats returning to Britain and leaving their animals behind Stella.

stellastar1, I completely agree with you. What the hell is going on? I have been here six months. All of a sudden, every day, I am swerving and honking my horn at stray cats and dogs. It's making me sick. My 12 week old puppy was just killed and since then I watched a car in front of me run over a dog and I seem to be dodging them right and left. I'm sick over it. I agree that it seems all of a sudden there are so many of them in the road and not all of them look to be hunting dogs. It's sickening.

i think i have to agree with all your comments. This has not been on the road for long. it was strange as i saw a car pull in then pull out in front of us but guido said he saw the dog on the main road looking very scared and a merc served to avoid it. of course it could have tried to run after his car owner, well we have taken him in , he is still scared but comes to life with attention.He is a beaut. loving also. well if you are still here i keep him one more day then its the highway and you deal with it.

I do nopt want to be any more so please you take them you feed them , you domesticate them, WHY THE HELL DO YOU PUT THEM BACK.
