its been anounced the glazers have paid off 220 million pounds of the clubs PIK loans ( very high interest) with their own money and utd debts now stand at just over 500 million quid with the club having 151 million in the bank .

anyone got a clue why they have done this ?

Yfred i think your right , i rekon somones sniffing in the back ground and they are scared shitless of losing man utd . hicks and gillett were sitting ducks and paid the price ( or should i say didnt pay the price as they used banks money to buy liverpool )

would the club be valued more with less debts? maybe so they can get a bigger loan



Not sure how loans work,must be some whizz out there who can tell us

The problem arises if they default and the bank takes the club off their hands. ManU cannot pay the debt. They sold Ronaldo for 80M last year and still had 40M loss.

They are in the sh*t as much as Liverpool were and still are.

paul mate how many times do we have to go over this ? they floated many moons ago on the london exchange and where doing mighty fine , but when you do this you are " up fo sale " to who ever can buy the most shares . .

Yes Andy i realise that.But you have always been in favour,this i what i cannot get my head around.United were the biggest most profitable club,and in the black,before these parasites took over,
