Yesterday I posted about a german shepherd which turned up at the restaurant. I received a few replies and responded. One of which was from Berilela offering help. I replied asking her to contact me. Then I went onto say about people who go back and leave their dogs. I would like to say this was in no way directed at Berilela and Im so very sorry that I upset you.I can however understand her thinking that it was directed at her by the way I had written it. We have spoken and the understanding is now cleared up.

shrimp, thank you but it does get even better. We walked the German shepherd this morning and a lovely guy came to the restaurant after seeing us. He asked is that your dog, I said No is it yours. Its my cousins came the reply.His real name was Max. within 10 minutes Max was reunited with his owner if though he didn't want to go. A friend of Berilelas also called tonight to see Tess, was very taken with her and hopefully a friend of his may take her. So we live in hope now. xx

swyflot not really a lot more Berilela included does so much more. I do what I can. I have been upset today when our neighbour cooked his lamb at the back of the restaurant, then brought it in to offer me some. when i saw the poor things legs with the hoofs on I wanted to cry. I appreciate its the custom and we are here as guests. What they would make of what we do to turkeys at xmas is anyones guess. I did accept gracefully but gave it to my staff.Im so soft I cry every time I see a shhep or cow in the back of a lorry as I know where they are going. The neighbours have been so lovely all of them bringing plates of food to us. To get back to the animals I do get very upset when they are just dumped on me without even asking if I could help. The ones I find being beaten, lost or distressed is another matter, and in my stupid way it was what i was trying to say xxxxxx

i know you get upset but you do a really good job. It is such a hard life for m,ost animals out here, kep caring and keep trying

rowan you know me, i say no more but cant turn one down. I do care more than i ever thought i would. If you had seen me sunday afternoon seeing the little one i fed by silver rocks dead, well i was in peices all night. I will keep trying as you know , every time i get a dog homed Im happy and sad. Its a bittersweet moment. The day Tess goes I will be in bits she gives me such amusment, the funniest little girl that was so scared of her own life when we had her first. to see what she is now its a joy. My customers love here as well x 2 months ago when we first had here we had to carry her out to do peepee etc. now madame tells me x

We can't help ourself, if we see an animal in distress we try our best to get him/her out of trouble, we have been lucky to home so many, and lilli one day will be awarded for it. She is a real saint and i am the lucky husband...
