| Excellent. Earlier initiatives such as methane fuel from cow dung etc for low cost use in vehicles have met with taxes equalling or exceeding the price of petrol at garage pumps. Governments are not willing to lose the massive tax income that fuel sales bring. Similarly, they apply "green" taxes to those who pollute by use of the fuels available and this too brings massive sums to their governance. Have yet to learn how these monies are expended in the pursuit of greener habits (perhaps distributed amongst themselves ?) |
