Hi all just wondered what the cost is for the broadband in the North, also is there any competition for suppliers.

I believe the cheapest you can get is 99 YTL per month from Extend for a shared line 512 kbps down 128 kbps up.



I would not recommend Extend though - their connectivitiy is like 90%. I get to use Internet all the time since my work is online, and I get down times of 30 minutes to 1 hour every 2 days!



Sunny Cyprus is good as far as uptime goes but the connection tends to be a little slower.

I use 'The Internet Club', if you pay in advance it will cost you £30 per month otherwise its £40. Don't forget your connection charges, you'll need wireless internet hardware.

Hippo uses Extend and i dont agree with izzet or coffer we have found extend very good we always have a connection and it also extreamly good for SKYPE our neibour uses the internet club and SKYPE on his set up is terrible.
