Do we need a crystal ball to predict the outcome? I can say nothing will come out of it.

well, no news from the link lilli, so we will wait until tomorrow but i think we know what the outcome will be, the usual empty promises from both sides and so on we go! Like you, I would like to see some positive movement instead of the usual rhetoric from politicions from all countries!!!

Well what a surprise!

At least they had a nice lunch.

The only person talking sense yesterday was David Hannay.

Anybody know what Alexander Downer gets paid for all his hard work?

I have just watched the Riz Khan interview on Al Jazeera and have to say that Lord Hannay has a very good understanding of the current situation and was not backward in placing the blame directly at the door of the ROC.

You can view the interview via this link:-

I just watched this and half the program was taken up by a GC repeating that it was all Turkey fault. Hannay at least managed to censer the GC side and the guy from TRNC might as well not have bothered to turn up. Hannay also expected great things from this UN meeting, he will be very disappointed.

I agree with Troodo. The guy did not want to talk about anything prior to 74, wanted to talk about Turkish settlers. Usual GC views it's all Turkeys fault etc

But if you want to email him I believe his email is.

You probably won't get a responce but I guess that's no surprise. Have a go and let us know how you get on!!
