Can anybody advise where I can get my favourite Winter boots re-heeled, preferably in the Girne area.

In the large building behind the Vakiflar Bank near the Colony Hotel.There is a shoe repairer in there sort of past the small kebab places at the entrance and turn right before you get 'n the main building.He is very cheap and quick.

Hi there are two cobblers, one is in the little row of shops down the side of the Kombos taxis and the other is the shoe maker in Karaoglanoglu. Just take the turning up to Karaman and he is on the right hand side just a few yards up from the junction. He makes very good shoes but is brilliant at repairs too.

I would recommend the man at the end of the Karmi road, near the Karaoglanoglu junction. He is fantastic!
