| its a thingy you can download films and stuff to lugs in to the telly so You do not have to use dvds....... waste waste and sick of burning to dvd to find it coughs and splutters |

| I have an 80gb Archos, a great bit of kit.
Can record straight from TV and download music very easily and fast.
When copying DVD's need software to override any copyright and then further software to convert to AVI file to put on Archos. ( all available free on web)This takes about two and a half hours to do on computer and then about sixty seconds to download to Archos.
They are great for travelling, I have about forty movies on mine plus around 100hrs of music.
Battery life about 11hrs for music and around five hrs for video.
Also great for transferring photos onto and as a portable hard drive.
Cost about £180 plus £60 for docking station for TV connection.
Lots of cheap ones on EBay but take care.

| this thing is brill watching , frost latest ephisodes, corrie,secret diary of a london call girl ( adictive) stargate , merlin ( bbc ) Casualty all sorts download it over night watch next day ............ also films .
Seems greatfor those cold winter nights.
