As a current student of his I'm rather biased but you won't go wrong by giving Tash a call. Highly recommended!

http://www.livemocha.com/learn/Turkish/l:2785#1

i like this website. of course it is not compared anyhow with a teacher. but for me, the prices when i asked was expensive and i couldnt afford it, because i am a student.

When i was in n cyprus in october I had 4 hours tuition with Cemaliye. She is based near Pia Bella and she is excellent. Her email address is gemma7a@hotmail.com

Someone on this board recommended livemocha to me and i have used it ever since. Lots of free lessons with various exercises. Its interactive so you get feedback from turkish people and help them with their english. I completed an exercise on sunday and submitted it and within an hour had 17 replies. You can also go online if you feel confident enough to practice your turkish. Livemocha covers over 30 languages. Defintely worth looking at and its fun

Re-Livemocha;

very well designed(user-friendly) and very helpful.Also lots of TRNC people are using as teaching&learning english&turkish both ways.

You do not need to pay if you check some others' works

Tash comes to your home or he holds lessons in various places depending on his customers. He prefers to teach in groups from 2 people upwards as it can be hard work one on one. If there are 2 of you then it is 15tl each for 1 1/2 hours. Maybe you can find somone to do it with you as it also help to have someone to bounce off whilst doing homework!!!
