That should give plenty of time to Osama B and his gang to prepare the fireworks for the party.

As long as the cost of this farce don't come out of my pension, I couldn't give a flying fluck!

And for those earlier moaning posters (different thread) on the subject of this Royal engagement - we've now been told that Prince Charles and Kate's parents will be footing most of the bill. The public's contribution will be costs of security on the big day.

The whole of the UK will have unprecedented 'back to back' public holidays, as the w/end preceding 29th April is the Easter period. Might as well shut down the engines as everything is likely to grind to a halt !

my son is very happy, he goes back to school after the easter break on the tuesday and then has the friday off for the wedding, a 3 day school week.

He says school should always be a 3 day week...lol

Well the best marketing present for the UK that the grandmother and father could give this young couple, is for them both to step aside and let them lead the UK as King and Queen!!!

Royal engagements have a habit of being quite short, so I am not surprised that April is what they have chosen. I am, however, devaststed that I will be flying over to TRNC on that very day so won't be able to see it.

Not devasted to be visiting my second home though, but would rather have done both.

Is that easter next year. However and whatever I wish them all the luck and love in the world. The new breed of royals , whom like most normal families had divorce death remarriage etc. Kids do get the fallout you know. I think they look great together and will produce an heir and a spare, they will take us forward x

Who takes the cash from OK???

How much do you think the security will cost?

I dont give two monkys flying f...s for this disfunctional lot of cretins.

The cost of them by a long way outweighs any benifit.

Mind you its only us that can say that after all she is 'Our Queen'

Interesting point a bank holiday costs the country 6 billion pounds (BBC News)

Plus the extra cost to small buisneses that need suport staff on (they will demand double time etc)

We just cant afford it especially in these lean times.

Let them get married in a registry office
