Try the state Hospital they need help with Health and safety....They put their rubber cloves on out in the corridor doing whatever they wish with them on, then open the doors...go and redress your wounds then open the doors with their gloved hands to leave again ! onto another patient with the same cloves..I happen to observe this when visiting someone after their opp...AHHH..Talk about the easy spread of infection guess they are unable to see where they are going wrong )

spids wind up love, but whats the ratio of mrsa here. As you know i was a frequent visitor there when i did my ankle and kne in, hated every second of waiting there. the people smelt so awful. waited hours to see the only doctor to no avail. No once in my visits did i see a TC there , no all go south for treatment x

You have got to be kidding H & S job

can you imagine the potential work load WOW you would be popular

H&S is a good thing, but to much red tape and not enough common sence, also costly to upgrade traing,membership & affilliations such as CHAZ ,which my company is a member, small companies especially are having a hard enought time without spending money on what can only be classed as a totally usless training courses for things we already practice and have done for the last 20 years but dont have a certificate to prove it.

The TRNC i would estimate meets about 5% of H&S criteria that we are expected to conform to in the UK. PPE would be a start we could step it bup to about 7.5% with that 1

So good look

come here and see for you self, look at the hazards on the loads they carry oh and how the secure their load. look at the builders on the sites with scaffolding tied up with string and the poor soul in flip flops,look at the welders no goggles hanging by a thread, we have great H&S here. xxx get a job in the hospital and treat these poor souls who come from the mainland to earn for their families . With your traing you may bring something here but you will not be paid for it x

Lilli;

You'll find that most TCs/CTs go to private hospitals rather then 'south' as you've put it.

>>>"poor souls who come from the mainland to earn for their families "<<<

above (your comments) is the reason.

and.......

>>>" look at the hazards on the loads they carry oh and how the secure their load. look at the builders on the sites with scaffolding tied up with string and the poor soul in flip flops,look at the welders no goggles hanging by a thread"<<<

all above mostly,kindly commited by them also since thats all they seem to know.

so..............do please get some facts right before...............

msg 15 cont....

....not to mention the 'fact' that "why TCs/CTs choose to send their kids to private schools" rather then estate!!

....yeap.......you've guessed right......it is the same reason.

Re message 15: having had considerable recent experience of hospitals in the south, I can assure you that there are plenty of Turkish Cypriots receiving treatment there, particularly in Nicosia General and the specialist cancer unit. Indeed, why would they not, especially when they can get free treatment? The oncology centre is offering standards of care that simply don't exist in the TRNC, public or private.

msg 17;

....indeed some do and like you said,indeed why would they not since it is within their (our) right.However,there arent couple of thousand TCs in TRNC,I can assure you that the vast mojority are treated in private hospitals in TRNC.Only last year my own mother had to wait for 3 months to see an eye specialist.I wont bother you with the cost.
