Published only this year, the fully illustrated Walk & Eat North Cyprus makes the ideal Christmas present for him of her. Some 11 walks are described along with some good places to eat. There is a detailed menu guide as well as 38 recipes covering most of the North Cypriot speciality dishes sometimes tracing their links back their eastern origins. From molohiya to manti and kazandibi to ekmek kadayifi, they are all described for you to make. An English/Turkish shopping list makes sure you can find you way around the supermarket to buy all the right ingredients.

Signed copies of the book will be on sale at Lambousa market this Saturday, 27th November, for just 25TL and at Bellapais on Saturday afternoon. It is too good to miss!

the book is published by Sunflower Books, famous for their Landscape series. Updates to the North Cyprus book or any of the Sunflower titles can be downloaded free from http://www.sunflowerbooks.co.uk

also detailed is the Blue Line walk in Lefkosa. It does not need any description because all you do is follow the blue line on the road/footpath and it takes you to all the most interesting points in the old town. Especially interesting is the social housing which we would never have found without the blue line walk. An excellent map of the route is available at the TO in Kyrenia Gate. On the reverse of the map are details of all the interesting and historical places.

I have been wondering whether to buy this book before we next come out.Are there any walks of a decent length which are not in the "Walks in North Cyprus Book"? We are in Malatya and want somewhere to walk that is not too far to travel.

Thanks,

Flossie

For those of you still in Uk this book can also be bought from Amazon. Great book, we used it to walk around the Gecitkoy reservoir this week.
