If a club and their supportes are going to be sattisfied by winning against their arch rivals 'once' in 17 years and be happy about it,it does not leave much to be said about the estate af the club, other then 'big deal'.

Speaking as a fully paid up member of the Yid army I agree that we shouldn't go overboard just because we beat a fading Woolwich side.

As to the champions league, what happened to the Gooners who said

"you'll never get out of qualifying"

You'll never get out of that group"

You're gonna get hammered by Inter"

"You'll be a disgrace to English football"

If being a disgrace means playing exciting open football then bring it on!

C'mon you Gooners... what do you expect! At the Emirates the crowd were all chanting 'Only 1 team in London' when it was 2-0..... you can hardly moan when the Spurs fans start to give some back after all these years. You have had it great for a long time.... seems the Spurs are on the up at the moment. A great year or 2 since Harry arrived but we are not quite there yet. Whatever we do now in the CL is all a bonus; no-one expected us to get as far as we have done and so it can only be seen as a success.

Still work to be done but... C'mon you Spurs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Neutral Person"

If you're really a neutral than I feel for you, as your comments on previous posts show you up as anti Spurs.

Stan and Yorgo are no problems it's all good banter, but you're just a saddo!

This is fun!

Being lectured by a chav of all things!

What's delusional about enjoying a modicum of success?

What's 1967 got to do with it? (oops I forgot, Spurs won and I was there)

How many European cups/champions leagues have Romans roubles brought you?

Why are you so fixated on Spurs, shouldn't you be more bothered about your local rivals Fulham?

YFred;

What is your problem?

Give credit where it's due for a change, and good luck in qualifying for the knock out stage of the CL.

As I pointed out the last time you spouted gibberish, your season ended at the Lane last term.

Did I crow about it?

Get a life.

I have a very good life thanks. Spend 11 years in Champions League and we can compare, no problem. In the mean time chalk and cheese comes to mind. Sorry but the truth hurts.

As a neutral it seemed to me that the win was nothing to do with Spurs (goals from a penalty and free kick) but everything to do with Arsenal who played Spurs off the park then, as they have done several times this Season, threw the match away by trying to stroll through the last third of the match.

i think harry would tell them to play and enjoy it like they do for their clubs.play to our strengths instead of playing like other europeon countries.when we are getting beat go for it,dont worry about the other team let them worry about us.

What makes me laugh about Arsenal fans 5 phone calls at half time we are shit, we look awful same old Tottenham. Then the way we win 3-0 in the second half and not one Arsenal fan picks up the phone. Arsenal fans are all the same all over the world sing when your winning. You only have to look at your paedophile manager bad loser.

Like what Paul say's what goes around comes around!

And we are obviously the better team and better squad!

It's so long that it really does not matter 11 13 15 who cares and all that on a shoestring. First 10 years net spending 50 million, which is less than what Tottenham spent. But that's another story.

Lets see how many seasons tottenham finish in the top 4 and we can start praising them.

As to how far we got? further than tottenham that's for sure.

"come on guys,it's just a game.

I wish all brittish clubs in europe a very good season. "

Well said Yorgo indeed but I'm afraid this shows you up to be a fraud in the eyes of 'true' supporters.

You can't wish other British (notwithstanding London) teams well and expect to be thought of as a real supporter... can you?

It's just not the done thing.... you will have to foster a deep hatred of all things Spurs, Chelsea, Fulham... etc. and do it quick before you get spotted! Don't need to bother about West Ham though... they are doomed.

Goonerstan, nearly in English! Although I must agree with you that the comments about Arsene being a paedophile are in poor taste...

Groucho;

re msg 33,

Try not to get confused between 'domestic' and 'european' fottball.

Is the definition of 'real supporter' in your eyes the one that 'hates' the rest?

I've been an arsenal supporter for the past 40 years, and the only club I had seen as a rival to arsenal in all this time is man.u,and that was due to my dad supporting them that has created a competition in the house.

Otherwise,TRUE ARSENAL SUPPORTER.

Yorgo,

Nope that won't do! I was only teasing you

My message was really aimed at those who'd prefer to see any British team other than their own favourite get thumped in all competitions just so they can belittle them...

You do understand that this is a stance widely held by those who afford themselves the title of 'True ...... Supporter'

Personally I'm with you and my reasoning is this... if British teams do well in Europe it invigorates the British game... and means that our teams can take pride in the fact that they play, keep pace and beat some of the best teams in Europe in the domestic leagues.

Those who take pleasure in the demise of other UK teams probably don't think like this but to me it's logical....

If a player standing in front of the goalkeeper blocking his view is not interefering with play then can somebody explain what is? Blinding bit of refereeing again one more time.

Liverpoll were a little unlucky. a draw would have been about right.

Scoop, Is the "corner Pin" still standing ? ......had as few in "The Antwerp" in the 70's and of course "Rudolph's"......"Tottehan Royal"......those were the days my friend.
