That would be a great idea, ( no disrepect intended johnty) can't tell you when its opening, but could probably hazard a good guess at how long it will remain open.

tarry67, I have not shot any one down, and whatever your nationality, you will find it hard to survive here during winter, and early and late season months.

When opening a Bar Resaturant or Pub, there is avery simple equasion, You look at Chimmney Pot's. IE. population.

I admire greatly ,the hard working People here running establishments for us punters. But if you spoke to most of them they would probably tell you that they wish they had put their investment in the bank, at least they would get 8 or 9 %.

I have run a thriving Restaurant in the UK for 15 years, But this year as been a tough one, Overheads nowadays are crippling.

Like I said I was not putting anyone down, (I am not that small minded) but just look around the proof of the pudding, as they say.

Best of luck to anyone for having a go.

Any new restaurant opening in winter is going to need lots of luck, even well established ones are struggling to survive just now. If I had enough money spare to open up a business I think I would put it on the back burner for now and leave the money in the bank.
