Hi All, Can you believe it? This Government, (under the stewardship of GB Gordon Brown ,or is it gor blimey) have told us all, that we have to be more careful of our intake of alcoholic drinks? 26 points a day. Now certain questions arise.......... 1 Who would vote Labour, if they were sober? 2 Who would open their utility bills, without going down the pub for a shfit first? 3 Who could look at their mortgage statement, without a bottle of Gin in front of them? 4 Who would try to fill up the car, without filtching the wifes purse first? 5 No one can any longer, afford a divorce? Now we know that things are really tough in The TRNC! What can be done? 1 No water....drink Efes! 2 Cant afford electricity, buy the wife a standby pedal generator! 3 Can't afford food....see item 1. 4 Can't afford to tax the car.....walk! 5 Can't afford speeding fines...see 4. Analysis of the postings on this board indicates that there is a tendancy towards consumption of alcoholic beverage in the TRNC. THE QUESTION IS.....WHY DOESN'T THE GOVERNMENT OF THE TRNC TELL YOU HOW MANY POINTS YOU MUST DRINK A DAY? Now we are coming over to the TRNC on 24/9, and as all board members know, I am a firm believer in political correctness. So I need to know how many points in a pint of Efes? Can any board member help, to cope with that sweltering sunshine and joy of life? Answers in a plain brown envelope The Lady Wyn, Twilight Home for the confused, Neverending United? Kingdom.

Wyn For easy counting lets just say 1 point/unit=1 pint This will make it easier for you to calculate how many Efes you can safely have before you jump into your car to drive back to Esentepe after our 24/9 encounter in the Ship. I think the current legal limit in TRNC is 50 units...but don't worry both Jock and I will keep you right as to how many units you have!!!! Jim (remember the donkey!!)

Wow Wacky Jim so you can 50 pints and still be safe to drive?? surely not? after drinking 50 pints you probably think you're the best driver in the world...that's if you can stagger to the car.
