At least that's what it says in Cyprus Today. From December 19th OSN will use new encryption system that will screw all illegal providers in the South and North.

I think 6m said that the other day so the question is....



What system available here is legal and doesn't require a dish the size of Jodrell Bank while still offering UK soaps and all the sports?

Whether it be card sharing or anything else, its been going on now for longer then I care to remember. You always here of new systems being introduced which may put an end to pirated systems for a month or two, bt sooner or later a loop is found and this will continue long into the future.

Just like SKY will say - they cannot officially supply you - due to their rights negotiations with the Movie / film companies..



You are actually buying kit that is registered to some address in an Arab nation that you don't know and are relying on not only the guy in CY, but also someone in the third Arab nation....



The official term for such companies are 'grey market pirates' ...



Now most TV cos, don't care about these companies - as long as they don't claim to be 'official dealers' ...



The acid tests will be:



1/ Can the pirates reliably card share the new OSN cards



2/ Will you be able to renew your AbuD habi subscription, and if so, will there be a handsome 'admin fee'

can you tell us of *reliable* NDS card sharing systems ? I can tell you that the Former Soviet states are now using systems that no-one has even managed to hack reliably.. as soon as the pirates THINK they've done it.. and release 'fixes' .. it's gone..



This isn't the like of Dopi's only 'problem' and it will get MUCH harder for the card sharing pirates to give a reliable platform whereby 'punters' will stump up for an unstable platform.



If you're adept at hunting down the net for places to find new keys, etc, carry on - most folk just want to sit down and watch TV, without needing to be a de-coding expert ;)

DigiTurk is legal in ( holds the TV rights) for Turkey and claims 'TRNC' as part of it's coverage territory



So, I guess if you are in 'TRNC' it is 'legal'! ;)



It has official DT dealers and you give your own address and can call them - you can't do that with AbuDhabi TV and you have to be careful with SKY ( UK / IRL address only ) !

I'm obviously not getting the msg across... I've posted umpteen times in the last two weeks ( twice today!) about NOVA Cyprus being legit - using Hotbird - part of Dopi setup - so little configuring necessary.



Most stuff is in English ..



I have set up and offered trials of slingboxes for folks to get UK TV ( BBC 1-4. News 24, ITV 1-4, Four, more4, Film4 , E4, Five, SKY News, bla bla.......



Free VPN,



and how to get SKY or even Abu Dhabi TV



What more can I do ? ;)
