Erduran laboratory is one of the top labs on the whole of the island. They have just moved to their new premises by the traffic lights (on the road to Ozankoy/Beylerbeyi). http://www.erduranlab.com/

Iceman, have you any idea the costs involved. A friend of mine said she went for some tests (albeit for Gynae issues) and it was about 400tl!

pippie i recently had blood tests done for heart enzymes cost me 180tl, results within the hour. I was so pleased as the doctor wanted to admit me to Girne hospital at 6pm friday night. The tests I had done at the chemist about 2 months ago was cholesterol, blood pressure and body mass index cost of 20tl, again instant results. I think a full blood test is always best as the doctor can perscribe the correct medication.

My husband pays about 60tl for a basic cholesterol test, it only goes up in price when he has other tests due to taking statins

Remember not to eat or drink for 12 hours before the blood tests. They generally produce 4 results and used to charge 10TL per result, so around 40TL. Erduran offer 20%(?) discount on production of a BRS membership card.

Parkview Lemar is not in Alsancak, you mean A chemist near Starling and it's called Ayden Eczanesi and yes they do them for 20tl. They also speak very good English in there.
