I love the Slade one, also the Pogues. I love a load of the old ones aswell like Jingle Bells, Silent Night etc etc when sang by a choir.

Our favourite Australian bard produces the most melodious Christmas songs - here's a track from one of his albums - not offensive at all!

Hi Tootie, my favourite christmas carol has to be a very, very old version of 'Silent Night' by probably the best bass singer the world has ever known, that of course is Paul Robeson. It's one song that can move me to tears.

Of the modern Xmas songs, my favourite is Jona Lewie's 'Stop The Cavalry'.

Parkview, with all due respect, do your research. Bing Crosby was a prick and did horrendous things to his children. "Christ"mas, Christian, Jesus Christ.....this guy did not measure up...Sorry to rain on your parade. This guy does not deserve to be mentioned. I spit on his grave..." Pthu."
