Thanks to Hans for his little trick on the other threads, We are attempting to collect enough presents again this year for the SOS project families. At the moment we have about 130 children age range from newborn to 16. This will be the 5th year we have done this collection so some of the kids still in the project from last year will be looking forward to this event and for the new kids well they will get the first wrapped present in their little lives.

All we are asking for is for you to go out and buy a gift to the value of 20TL wrap it and label it boy/girl and the age. Drop off points are Guidos in Alsancak and also Botanica but collection can also be arranged.

If anyone needs further information then please call me on 0533 8673530

Please help make this as good as last year if not better.

I will drop presents for both a boy and a girl into Liz over the weekend.

By donating something besides "money" should give people confidence in knowing what they give will 100% reach the children that need it.

Well done.

A worthwhile cause that we have been supporting from when I first heard of it.

we have not set a date yet as we want to see what the response is this year, so far very slow. If we dont mange to get enough presents for all the children then we will not be holding the party we will just take what presents we do mange to collect to the families homes.

We will make a decision within the next 2 weeks because the hall will need to be booked if the party is to go ahead so if presents could be taken to drop off points as soon as possible please then we will have a better idea.

We have only had a few dropped off, including a bag of boys stocking fillers generously brought in by the Cancer trust. We are open 8.30am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. Thank you!!
