Do you need to have an address for the Greek side to recieve packages or will ID passport ect be accepted

any information would be appreciated.

your able to have sent to an office in the south then you will need a passport/identification to pick up the package

You can get things delivered here by DHL and TNT no problem. TNT have an office in Lefkosia that will call you first, then come and deliver Tel: 0392 225 6950 (they also speak English if your Turkish is no good)!

Fedex office is also in Lefkoşa. Their local agent name is MNG. The office is - driving from the main roundabout as you reach Lefkoşa, go straight on and continue straight on as if you're going to the centre, past the general hospital. You'll eventually reach a set of traffic lights where you can turn right to go to the Metehan border and there's a Jeep showroom on your left. Go through these lights and a little further on you'll see MNG on the right side of the road. If you reach the Merit hotel you've passed it! You just need to show passport to collect. They don't speak a word of English when they ring you to tell you you've got a package (just Package, MNG and Merit Hotel are the keywords to look out for!). I've had letters however delivered to my office address in Girne from them without any problem. TNT is good too. Beware DHL, everything seems to get stopped and they charge silly money just to give you a piece of paper to take to the airport to collect your g
