Hi recently I read in the paper that gifts were wanted for local children, I purchased some bits today but can't remember the drop off points, can anybody help me with relevant info please, also can they be fully wrapped or do the distributors need to see contents. many thanks Jenny.

Hi Jenny, the pressies can be dropped off to me At Guidos Alsancak at at Botanica. It would be very helpful if they could be wrapped and a little info on the wrapping indicating boy or girl and age please.

Just to clarify, request is on behalf of the SOS Village and not the Children in Need Foundation.

RE msg 10, parkview: (...) Just to clarify, request is on behalf of the SOS Village and not the Children in Need Foundation. (...)

▶ All children will be pleased with this clarification. How sad this charity business of the Brits has become - now that we obviously need posts like number 10.

Parkview this has nothing to do with the children in need foundation. These presents will be given to the children that are registered under the SOS family strengthening programme.

Hi Teresa and Dutch Crusader, I wanted to clarify the above only because several people have asked what project we are sending them too, I just wanted to explain that it is the SOS. Did not want to offend anyone.

I've seen the faces and behaviour of the children last year - sorry, I couldn't care less "which organisation" is behind this. For me it's just the result that counts. ALL MONEY WAS SPENT TO GIVE THESE UNFORTUNATE CHILDREN ONE NICE DAY IN THEIR LIFE. During private walks in old Nicosia and other places I've seen how many of these children and their parents must live - Teresa and Liz are doing one hell of a job. All honour to them, "the organisers".
