Woman dials 999 to report snowman theft

woman who dialled 999 to report the theft of a snowman from outside her home has been branded "completely irresponsible" by Kent Police.



The force said the woman, from Chatham, thought the incident required their involvement because she used pound coins for eyes and teaspoons for arms

I took a call once requesting Police assistance because the Pizza delivered to her was cold!!!!, She couldnt understand that at 11pm in Lewisham, we didnt have officers sitting about to respond!, Not happy at My response, She went onto say "What else do you expect me to feed my 1 YO Infant"?????

I use to work on the Ambulance Service, and had to respond to 999 calls, i once was called to a club because the bar man man had cut his finger, this was called in on a 999 call also also we were called to a house and when we arrived there he had knocked his toe against a wall? !!!!!! yes a wall and called a 999 ambulance out.



These people should be fined, they are diverting emergency services from people that need them.
