So it can't be a problem for Teresa, Liz at Guido's) and Botanica to collect about 135 presents! Don't you agree..?

Can we please keep this on topic instead of turning it into a personal attack.

I had decided not to do this appeal this year because of all the bad postings on other charity threads but the only losers will be the kids so please help put a smile on those little faces this year.

BoTanica: you are always willing to help - in this case "Secret Santa" - so it may help you and others to have a map for publication on the Internet with your "location/drop off point". I'll make this map for you, although not this week (I'll contact you next week).

Last year we arranged for some money to be dropped at Botanica and somebody bought some presents, as we are not over there again this year is it possible to do that again?

Liz that is excellant news i was starting to get worried that we might not make it this year and now that i am housebound the pressure is on, will try and get ali to bring me to collect what you have and we can start crossing off names.

Please keep them coming time is getting short now and we dont want to let the kids down this year, have heard that some of the kids that were there last year have started asking if they will get a present again this year so it does make a big difference in their lives.

I have 3 presents that I'll be dropping off at Botanica during the next few days. Come on folks don't let the kids down. This is what Christmas is really about.

So the answer to my question would be to leave a donation at Botanica then?

So making a donation next year what would you suggest I buy ??

Janjin that would be fine and we will buy a present on your behalf. If you are thinking of next year then i would suggest that something for an older child as we seem to get stuck on those each year, Watches are always a popular choice for the older boys.

Please can i ask that all the presents are handed in by the end of next week, that will then give us chance to get them named and sort out what we are still short of.

The party date will be announced soon but we are hoping that it will be held between christmas and new year.

Had a few presents dropped off in the last couple of days, but no-where near the amount that we had last year. Many thanks to those that have given, and a gentle reminder/plea to those that haven't!! If someone wants to drop off a donation, I will happily buy a present and wrap it on your behalf!!

Teresa

Thanks for the response.

I will bring a watch over next year and leave it at Botanica. I can't leave a donation this year as I won't be over, but I will ask a friend about this.

Have a good Christmas

Had a few more pressies last couple of days, nowhere near our response from last year. I know many have you have gone back or going very soon, please can i ask you, these are children who have not much in life. Our kids have such a quality of life, latest i phones etc. One little gift for 20tl will make a smile so bright. If you could only see the joy when baba noel calls thier names, and teresa does all this , she puts them into ages and sex catogery. It would melt an iceberg. When you look at your childrens wish list please bear in mind one little child whose smile you can light up. thank you xxxxxxxxx

RE msg 27/28, Simbas: Pat, Liz and Guido were probably at the Saturday Lambousa Market (selling their excellent Parma and boiled ham), so I missed them - but the agreed amount of money will be handed over Monday/Tuesday. You are a good woman, Pat - pleased to know you! Best regards, Hans Doeleman.
