You can get it @ Lemar & Tempo in Girne [Karaolanoglu] - in fact, Tempo have various varieties of Bailey's Irish Cream, as well as the 'original' - I think it's around 35TL for the small bottle.

Bought some in Hur Deniz in Kyrenia yesterday. Very slightly cheaper than some of the other supermarkets but not worth making a special journey for. One litre 37-39TL.

Hi Judy - hope this finds you and yours well.

I don't suppose there's any chance of you publishing the recipe on here, is there? If not, I would very much appreciate it if you could e-mail me, too. paul@millfield27.fsnet.co.uk .

A very happy christmas and happy new year to you.

With love and best wishes.

Hi Jean & Paul,

I'm very well, thanks for asking.

Hope you are both keeping well and coping with the weather in UK.

Yes, I will post the recipe for all. Have had so many requests, I should have posted it in the first place.

Just taking our new puppy to the vet, so will post when I return.

Take care, have a wonderful Christmas and all the very best for the new year.

Love Judy x

As requested, here is the recipe.

Ingredients:-

3/4 cup of sugar

400g carnation milk

1 1/4 cups of whiskey

3 large eggs

2 teaspoons of coffee

1/2 pt of single cream

Instructions:-

Put carnation milk in a bowl. Blend in one egg at a time. Add the coffee, the whiskey and the sugar.

Lastly, add the cream.

When mixing only use a wooden spoon!!

Caster sugar would be better than granulated as it's finer.

"2 teaspoons of coffee"

Is that espresso coffee or coffee granules?

Rather than coffee wouldn't a touch of chocolate, vanilla and caramel make a more authentic Bailey's taste?
