Perhaps it said on the box "sufficient for one, to be consumed in one hit". Doubt then you would remember which wine you bought ? Thanks for the warning and hope you feel better soon !

Lordjim come on, 10tl what is that in pounds about £4, if you pay for Cr*p thats what you get, has message 4 says you can't blame Erdener, they are a good local supermarket.

You say they are marketing it has a bargain, it is if all you want to do is get off your head, but you are not going to get decent wine for 10tl for 3 ltrs, be fair.

Regards any responsibility on their part, supermarkets in the UK sell cheap booze, who is holding them responsible, it's up to the consumer.

Lord Jim - it's hardly their fault if the taste is not to your palate but when you buy cheap it's normally cheap that you get.

Well 3ltrs of wine for 10tl is a bargain I suppose, whether or not the wine is to your taste is not really down to the retailer, I could go out and buy caviar at a bargain price, but I wouldn't like the taste.

I've tried it twice James and hated it, not even a lovely glass (or two) of pink champagne made it taste any better.

Anyway back to this wine. Just how bad is it? I am on a limited budget. but an unlimited wine habit. Are the two compatible? (Go on Pauline, I know you want to).

We bought a definitly corked bottle of wine from Supreme. When we took it back they wouldn't change it. Company policy they never change wine. When we told them that when we had taken a bottle back to Erdener and they had changed it the supervisor told us to go and shop at Erdener. Obviously they have a better wine policy and guess where we will always being buying our wine.

if they wont change it mix it with ice and soda. Hate Charonaay anyway. Its cheap remember its the chemicals that make the taste, now Lj do you really want to put all those chemicals in your body. Was it marketed as french. SA or what. Remember Chardonay is a grape not to be mixed with all the chemicals to bulk it out. My favourite wine and i only drink white is Chablis, I hate chardonay with a passion but Chablis is made with that grape. Remember if you cant cook with it then dont drink it x

Lord Jim

The worst part about ypor post is the title.

What a generalisation it is.

Because you thought you had the bargain of the century and found out you were wrong you twll people not to buy wine from Erdeners.

You get what you pay for in cheap wine. Would you grow grapes, make it into wine, package it and ship it for the pre profit price on 10TL?

Maybe it is a top seller with TCs!

The wine snobs are out in force now. Most of you don't care about the taste.....but look at the price!

It's fermented grape juice FFS. Even South America can do a decent version.

Cricova wines are all from Moldova and some of them are OK... obviously the 3 litre Chardonnay is one to avoid. Chardonnay can be very odd and buttery in the mouth and for that reason... I'm out!

i just came back from moldova and i enjoyed a lot of cricova when i was there . i suggest you try a ltr of vodka shots closley followed by a ltr of jd.. between 3 of course as you should drink responsibly and then i guarantee the 3tl box will taste sublime .. chin chin
