500gr icing sugar

1 egg white

30ml glucose

cornflour....



Put icing sugar, egg white and glucose into a food processor or by hand...belnd until it looks like small bread crumbs. Knead then until it is like bread dough. Add a little cornflour if it starts to get sticky.

When if feels no longer sticky it can be rolled out on a surface lightly dusted with cornflour.

It can be kept in an airtight container or inside cling fiilm over night.

I buy mine from a pharmacy in UK so that may be worth a try.

Hi darrener2,



I do know already where to buy it in the UK but when I lived in Italy I couldn't find it anywhere and just wondered if they sold it anywhere in the TRNC or even know what it is.

Sorry, the butlers wife, I meant for you to try a pharmacy in TRNC.

It has a lot of pharmaceutical uses so I imagine they would be able to get it for you.



In the absence of any other suggestions I thought it may help you.

Or you could just buy Fondant Icing at Tempo I still have mine un-opened!
