one-time british prime minister brown, a better brain than national leader,

emerges from obscurity to warn of a possible collapse of the "single currency"

the report just aired on the bbc website refers to lack of any solid rescue scheme

and a very possible demise around january

the result of the indebtedness crisis of european banks and governments

is slowly spiralling far beyond recovery

and will inevitably eject the weaker southern economies out of the system

yet will then allow them to devalue and see their exports dramatically fall in price

the naiive amongst us, and I include myself...never imagined this could be "allowed" to happen

what it illustrates is have malleable and untrustworthy any single view of "progress" may be:

whether in the adoption of european monetary union or a contradictory cyprus reunification

Gordon was not all bad.

He put the brakes on teflon Tony when he wanted to sign up to the Euro, and he saved the worlds banking system single handed from collapse, he also.............................will get back to you on that one.

Brian Messages 4 & 6 - I hope you have heard of the birds and the bees, if not at 68 you have a lot of fun coming

Both men made multiple mistakes but some might say their hearts were in the right places, some may not.

The key word in the statement in message one is 'possible'.

This means that it is unlikely to happen.

Flightholiday. Does 5 children and 10 grandchildren sound like fun ? I think you understand Birds and Bees. Birdbrain Blair was over the Cuckoo's nest whilst Bee Brown stung us all to pay for Blair's megalomania from early Ban the Bomb fanatic to being chosen by God to bring peace to the world by unjustified bombings. Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity

Wattys. Cannot condone or wish for that to happen but those two have definitely made it more likely and put all in the UK at much increased risk of acts of terrorism.
