I asked for fishnet stockings, suspenders, bra and knickers with ribbons on the slits. She only when and got them for my size. Silly cow.

John ! Gather the "Barry" is directed at me ! Thank you but guitars are not how they look as you will appreciate (being the proud owner of the Box) I have a great collection of guitars that are so so playable that I find it hard to choose which one to use at a gig until now ! however ! as you know ! my much better half bought me "MY" ultimate guitar A PRS private collection a short while ago and (for me) it blows all others to bits ! It is, for me, the ultimate instrument ! The PRS has 24 frets which enables me to create certain riffs and being made of solid mahogany with a set neck enhances the sustain to an incredible level ! regards Barry

Barry

I concur with you about PRS guitars, and If I had not retired I would have owned one by now. Just love the way guitarists like Carlos Santana can make them sing. I have played (not owned but loaned)a few guitars in my time (Les Paul, Gretch Countryman etc) but the PRS series is absolutely superb. I am now reduced to playing a Yamaha FX370, a Yamaha FG720 12 string and a Cort KX10.

mess 10 - no Barry not directed at you old fella - directed at my pal Barry Dalkins from Cattlekoy, who has a Jem 555 - (the cheaper model made in Korea), he's as sick as a parrot having heard about my Jap made 7V, which can be bought here for a quarter of the price than in the UK......

The Ibanez Jem 7V is the weapon of choice of my guitar hero - Steve Vai, arguably the greatest and most inavative electric guitar player ever - Like yours it also has 24 frets (the last 4 sculpted out to squeeze out every drop of umph) - If its good enough for him - its going to be perfect for me - Aklthough i can't make mine scream like he can (yet).............

For me the ultimate guitar - it looks as good as it plays - Even Joe Satriani & John Prutchi play Ibanez..........

if you get the chance - you should try one................

You'll be delighted to know, "the Box" is no more - got 3 times what i paid for it to a collector over here, so a "happy ending" for me...............

John ! I have played loads of Ibanez guitars and they are very nice however i have to disagree with the looks !! Only my opinion it looks like a "gypsy's handbag" ! or a "well off council house lounge" and Jo Sat plays a guitar Hand crafted for him by top Ibanez engineer Jim Tollerol ! the only similarity to Ibanez guitars on the high street available to us is the name ! a bit like Santanas PRS and Steve Vai's Jem 7V !!! Glad you managed to sell "the box" played like a buiscuit barrel with a broomstick stuck to it !! but almost as unusual as the streamline ! regards barry PS lots of property just gone on market in Karmi ?????? any ideas ????

AlsancakJack ! I wouldnt have my PRS if not been for a totally unselfish, massive hearted, Mrs Snakes ! just added Santana's "Smooth" and "She's not there" to my gig list great to play !! see ya !
