Merry Christmas everyone! I need your help please. I am looking for a traditional tea tray to give as a christmas present and i have been looking but i have had no luck. The type i am looking for is the circular bottom tray with three arms that extend upwards that meet at the top. You see them every where in Turkey and i was hoping that while you were all out doing your shopping you could keep your eyes open for me. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you could get one made. Is that an option?

You'll find that that is a Turkish tea tray. Perhaps someone going to Turkey can bring you one. The ones used in Cyprus that I have seen are round, about the size of a large plate and the map of Cyprus plonked in the middle. Surely being in Cyprus, that is the traditional Cypriot tea tray you should be looking for.

I saw one on Wednesday at the main market - it was a stall selling Turkish lights, etc. It was the far end of the market from the Police Station.
