Mike - some good tracks for Sunday. Grandma's Feather Bed by John Denver brings back memories from when my son was little. He used to love it. He'll be 30 in 3 weeks' time Thanks for taking the time to do this. Would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Jean

Hi Paul - yes I am playing a couple off your list - hope you enjoy them. Like you, I am a retired Firefighter (West Yorkshire). Do you know any good 'Fire' songs - anything except 'Fire Brigade'. Hi Jeannie - I used to play, 'Grandma's Feather Bed', quite often many years ago. For me it was one of those country songs that could mean everything to anybody - especially children. The surprising thing is that, although the song was one of his most popular, at his concerts, it was never released as a single, only on an album. A very Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you and yours also. DJ MIKE

Mike, funnily or perhaps not so funny I was at a funeral on Monday for one of my Fire Brigade mates (ex London) and going into the crematorium the played The Move Fire Brigade. Other songs with Fire themes:- Walk through the fire..........Peter Gabriel Put out the fire...................Queen After the fire......................Roger Daltry Ring of fire.........................Johnny Cash Play with fire.......................Rolling Stones Firehouse...........................Kiss We didn't start the fire.........Billy Joel Baby's on fire......................Brian Eno. I know there are lots more, but this is a start. Paul
