...definition of smart dress?

I ask the question for both men and women? I have my Ideas but I was asked by someone else and I don’t want to cause someone else to have a social disaster!!!

If you were willing I would also be interested to know the authority with which you answer the question with ;-)

Have a great weekend one and all!

Surely "Smart Dress" would vary from occasion to occasion. For example a smart dress for a ride on a motorbike is different from an expected smart dress for a job interview or for a halloween party etc.

Ismet you may have put your finger on the problem I think there is no such thing as "smart dress" because it is occasion driven.
