As you all know I decided to continue Ismail's cancer treatment. (there was never any doubt in my mind) ,



I am hoping to get some good news, we keep hoping, I am working with the funds that we have left, and the odd little bit coming in off good friends.



He as now finished his course of cancer injections, and had to go to istanbul, the trip was going to be overland, but unfortunatley, his arm swelled up and he had to on a flight attached to a drip with his dad and a doctor.



So no real update yet,



But this is the good bit, and it really should make anybody who whinges and moans ashamed of theirselves.



Yesterday Ismails dad managed to get him to call Jan and I when he was awake, he was so full of himself, happy laughing, even managing a few words in English,he actually said how he loved Jan and I and everyone who has helped him.



Wish I could have recorded this and played it to you. Best Tonic you could get. This attitude from a little boy who as been through so much.

Ok, now you can spend those valuable few minutes having a stab at someone else.

What a lovely post, our thoughts are always with Ismail and it's great to get updates. As for your emotions, the world would be a better place if more people were like you so ignore those who mock. God Bless.

Hi Lee - great post. Love, care and help - no matter where it comes from can only help Ismail, or other people, no matter who or where, in similar predicaments. You and Jan have certainly given more than your fair share. Ignore the knockers and keep on doing what you and Jan have been doing. You're two great people.

I would like to say i do not know Johnny Lee or Jan but have been keeping abreast of what they has been doing for Ismail & his family via Cyp44. These 2 people have put a lot of time & effort into helping a little boy who has gone through an awful lot this year and i believe they should be held in the highest esteem for all there fundraising efforts with the support and help of many people of Cyp 44. To all those that sit behind there computers and give advise and knock this couple if you put as much effort into helping someone as you do knocking these people a lot more funds could be raised to help the not so well off. To Johnny & Jan let me take my hat off to you for everything that you have done and say i have the highest regard for you both and i wish you both a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year and may God hold you both safe. To all the knockers may i say to you lets hope you do not find yourself in the predicament that Ismail has and if you do lets hope there is someone w

I speak with the experience of having cancer of the thyroid glands 12 years ago and without the many people who helped me i would not have got through it

Lilli Jan and where close to tears also when we heard his little voice. We are not ashamed of that, I think anyone with a heart would feel the same way
