Paul, that's because Turks moving into Germany in recent times have made themselves extremely unpopular.

The German people around me detest them!

Usual thing Paul, move into someone else's country and demand that the people change their culture. We are equidistant from 2 market towns. Each town has a hospital. One, where I recently had an op, is clean, light and airy and very pleasant to visit.

The other has locked doors, security glass, filth everywhere, and is generally very unpleasant.

Guess which town has a high Turkish immigrant population?

And here, where the staple meat eaten by the population is pork, they object to shops and market stalls selling pork products, to the extent that violence has been used.

blinking hell kaiser, it cant get much worse. WE are constantly told we are guests in this bit of paradise. When you see around the world how they want to change things. No wonder Germay is peed off. Yes you get fractions of expats who want little britian here, spain etc but would never resort to violence to my knowledge.xxxx

Did not the German authorities encourage Turkish immigration when there were plenty of dirty jobs that Germans didn't want to do for low wages?

surely the 'pontiff' and his collection of uphill gardeners encourage a better life for all, so he should want anyone that wants to go there to move to the Vatican??

Beware your small boys though!

Groucho, you are correct. However, the original Turkish immigrants I have met seem to be very nice people. Soem have been here for many years.

All i have read on these people is that they have intergated well, married within and without thier communities, do their work and raise their families, i cant beleive they would show violence if you sell pork products. Christ if that happened here we would alkl have to close down xxxx

You all seem to think that history started one day during YOUR lifetime. Movement of people is as old as the road to Rome. Maybe you Brits on this C44 forum would like to realise who invaded (emigrated to) the Britain isles for many millennia? What's new? You are "English"? Why? Only because of your passport! You are a mixture of many tribes! Good. Because it is postponing (and nothing more than that) degeneration. Historical fact.

P.S. I hasten to say this goes for all of (Western) Europe.

I'm not really sure we should be taking the Germans seriously in terms of their racial biases or their opinion of other races - they've done enough damage in the fairly recent past.

Right on Groucho, similarly to how our NHS was and is still staffed.

Kaiserphil, I'm not surprised and on the same grounds quite a number of the British despise Germans, and going by the FIFA vote, most of the world despises the British.

Do we care?

Only if people are unfairly treated - like Turkey. Know what I mean.

Kaiser,

Thank god that man with the "tash" never got his own way or Germany would have been a lot

If the pontif had a good woman, I am sure he would change his mind. After all was it not Gengis Khan that taught the greeks to try sex with women?
