Rocky did you see the new thread 'SWB - Finally getting the keys ' or something like that?? I remember a lady called JacK who was going out to NC for about six weeks she may be back now - Being the sad person I am, I went through some old SWB threads and found that some people had only left a few posts, I wonder where they are now??

Rocky I suppose we could just stay here and wait for someone to post!! We were down your neck of the woods about a month ago took my son (aged 23) and his girlfriend (same age) and Arthur's mother (86) to Longleat for the day. My son and Arthur's mother were like two children so excited!! Apparently there is a tv programme about the place, they knew the names of the animals and everything!!

Yeah of course I will - it will be very interesting because we have asked for certain things - we'll just have to wait and see. Taking SWB's replies and confirmations with us as evidence!!!

Hi Guys

I've been logging onto the other forum but it seems to have gone really quiet!

We are buying 117PL and are hoping to complete in November but the process is a bit confusing. Has anyone else been there and done it?

I stand guilty as charged, i realise i have not been posting as often as I should but I am actually in Cyprus at the moment.

My first visit to the site was May 2007 and now that i am here again the progress is really good, I know a lot of the units are behind schedule, mine included, but there are a lot more units that have been started and are fairly well advanced, quite a few more than i had anticipated.

I realise there have been problems with the contractors i.e. deliveries etc but surely this is something that can be expected with a project of this size and nature, especially when it is being built here in Northern Cyprus, you only need to go on the forum to read horror tales of the mess that other sites/projects are in.

Anyway i promise to post on a much more regular basis.

Regards to all,

Alex.

P.S. Let me know if you would like me to take a snap or two of your unit, let me know your E mail address and i'll snd them off to you.

Sorry Rocky, it's like when you first go on google or ebay, there are a thousand things to check up on and then suddenly you run out of things and you dry up.

It's like that on here, I just can't think of anything to say or ask.

It needs somebody to get the the ball rolling again and the flow going.

Maybe when the next crowd come back from SWB we will have something to discuss.

Bye for now.

Hi all,

I am here secretly watching!! Long time no speak to!!

I decided to become a baywatcher like many others for a while that coupled with a caotic summer hols with the kids etc taking up most of my time and energy!

Thanx rocky for your sweet comment regarding my over and out "take care" endings on my postings- I didnt realise that you would miss me that much ? Im flattered!!

A couple of questions to get the ball rolling could possibly be for example:

Has anyone received their PTP yet??

Anyone completed and received their title deeds as yet? Or is it too soon?

Has anyone employed a surveyor to check out their unit yet?

Thought Id help with a few questions to possibly get the ball rolling as you requested??

Take care all d x

welcome back Davidoff nd LobyLud nice to hear from you again. I know Jakki nd Arthur go out in a couple of days and are about to complete I guess that Keith nd Moira must be close and one or two others. I think it is key for us to share any snagging issues as if there is a problem in one apartment or villa it could be repeated elsewhere. Of course there is already an Arthur on site and I think they have has some anxiety but they did move onto a building site. Loby you didnot have much to say but at least you managed a post.Take Care all (doesnt that sound nice)

hi davina with regards to PTP we handed our police clearence doccuments into our solicitors last feb but we have not heard anything. title deeds well thats a can of worms to say the least! its my understanding no one will get their KOCAN ( title deeds ) untill the political situation is resolved one way or the other its case of watch this space while the talks proceed. to be honest some people ive spoke to last time over in july say its a wait of upto two years before they receive deeds . . regards andrew

Good evening sweetwaterbay owners.

I am a friend of andy and sue who own on sweetwater i was out there 6 weeks ago and your site is coming on superbly every time I go across I visit to give andy an update from what I can see the quality of the build is excellent and no matter what day I visit there are always builders working, that cannot be said for a lot of sites along that road.I am out there next week for two weeks I will be visiting SWB and giving andy further updates when I return I will post an update for SWB owners.I own on Turtle Bay and we are really happy with our complex I hope my mate Andy is as pleased with his.
