No point signing up, FA's ban people usually for no sensible reason, sometimes because they support the people who feel they have been got at. Let's face it, this forum is supposed to be to help give advice to people who either live here or are thinking of living here, yet there is always such a lot of useless postings that have nothing to do with TRNC.



If FA's were to try to sort out problems rather than just banning someone the board might improve. Most that get banned just re-register under other names, also quite often those banned do not even get told why they have been banned.



Should someone start blasting of stupidly at other members, why not get them together over a drink, if you cannot sort things out, just either agree not to post against each others postings or stat making the 'banned target' posts be previewed by Admins' then just do not allow post if not sticking to 'rules'.

Unfortunately I think that Dave (zerochlor) has a personality clash with a forum administrator and from time to time (usually after a few drams) gets a little outspoken to this persons dislike and therefore suffers the consequences. Personally I find Daves posts amusing,informative and funny with the occasional "oops" factor but rarely worthy of a ban although I am not an admin person.I have looked at his posting profile and cant see anything that is particularly worthy of a ban so expect it has been fuelled by an "off forum" dispute of which none of us can comment. On a more serious note I find David a person who speaks his mind which in todays market (especially on this forum) is a rare attribute, he has supported us by attending gigs and videoing someimes to our detriment. He is a valued hard working and caring bloke who finds it impossible to see "eye to eye" with most here (even me) yet sometimes feels so passionate about a subject ! We should insist he is reinstated due to

Maybe you should post some of the emails and then as you say people could see the real person behind the alter ego, no abuse should be given on this forum from anybody to anybody, regardless of their opinions and if they do, then absolutely they should be banned.

You and only 2 others are worthy FA's the rest should be banned themselves.



You do not as far as I am aware have friends who you support unfairly when a discussion starts. Certain FA's ban people who make coments against their 'mates'.



When people make offending remarks, they should be challenged over it if proved they were wrong the comment should be deleted and a solution to their posting either agreed or their future postings should be made to be reviewed before being automatically allowed to post.



When someone is banned, then they should be totally banned, including deleting them from the forum, ip address refused posting to the site should stop them relogging on as new user which they all seem to do.

Hi Spidey , bans were given , but not lifetime , the person was e-mailed and told by myself , that because i felt the matter had become personal , and to remain totally unbiased i was passing the matter on to someone else in order for it to dealt with fairly .
