Move to Jeopardy. I read in the news that there are millions of jobs in jeopardy. Better still, move to Intheory. Everything there is hunky dory, in theory.

▶ Any idea how many people in Eastern Europe (Poles, Bulgarians etc etc) ask themselves the same question?

If you are skilled and you can't make money in UK you can't make money anywhere.

'Thailand is cheap but can unskilled work there, probably not' You also have to leave every 90 day's, depends on which visa you have. Also it's not as cheap as it used to be. The price of cars there is now very expensive. I believe work permits are required there.

India no good. Big visa problems there. They have stopped all 'New Business Visa' Applications'

Laos. Cambodia. Vietnam. Are up and coming countries. But if you are used to the European way of life. It will be quite difficult to adjust.

Crikey fosterscan,

does your wife know you're planning on sending her out to work?. I see you're retired at 42,

not bad in my opinion.

Hahaha, fosterscan, ''she stayed at home with the children'',

I think you'll find most women would rather go to work, it's less work than staying at home to look after the children, and of course you men............

But back to the subject, the quality of life over here far exceeds any higher prices we pay. It's swings and roundabouts, some you gain...some you save.

Life isn't a rehearsal, just enjoy.

FOSTERSCAN...they say things can only get better.????? Even some of the EU "immigrants" are going back home because of all the proposed cuts ,so there should "in theory" be more jobs around and less in "jeopardy" dont you agree.....

fosterscan...seen the news this morning...130000 to be made redundant over the xmas period by local councils because of the cutbacks..thats getting better???? So no grit spredders, dustbin collections missed,(take your own to the tip) you name it ,we will get lumbered well and truly. Thats just the tip of the ice berg.iI really dread whats coming eventually,no body is safe except the bloody politicians. They have a guaranteed job and pension pay off after 5yrs.

Have a nice xmas and new year.....

interesting to see no cuts in MPs nos. And see the bankers retaining their bonuses/ or increasing their wages just in case their bonuses maybe regulated. Student demos? They haven't seen anything yet.

Quarmby i wish the wife never needed to work but 1 of us has to, if we never had to we would be on the next plane over there.i thought that the UK would not be the best place to live wages/cost of living but it seams like it still cant be beat (unless someone knows different)
