what about the 6 months quarantine ?

like being in prison.....

Can't you re-home then in the TRNC ??

ok positive from now on !!

well done for seeing the light and going back to the UK - just as me and the Mongers go back to the TRNC..........

i was't aware you could get a pet passport if your animal had been in the TRNC (ie out of the EU) ??

Nick Msg 4 -there are ways as long as you keep the passport up to date - but they are not mentioned as if they are the "loophole" might close and then the quarantine would apply.

mess 5 - when you mean "loop hole" - you mean breaking the law ??

surely if the pets leave "europe" then the pet passport is void ?? and surely a vet in the TRNC can't stamp the passport, as they are outside the EU ??

so if by going back with a dodgy pet passport - doesn't the owner risk imprisonment and the animals risk a far worse fate ??

sounds bleedin risky to me.............

but then what do i know - if i'd got any sense i'd be staying in THailand in the baking sunshine with wall to wall crumpet................

You can get carriers from Perova Garden Centre and Green Garden. When you get the cat carrier please make sure it's the sturdier one, they cost about 80TL...if you get the cheap flimsy ones, they will be refused at customs as unsafe.

Hope this helps.

We have a double (partitioned) cat crate that our cats travelled in. The crate is wooden and very sturdy.
