just a query, I would like some 'artwork' for my home in TRNC. Here when the art students finish their course, they are allowed to have an 'exhibition' and sell their pictures. Does that happen at the Univeristy there, and if so, where can I find out the dates for the exhbitions please?

Turkish Cypriot Artist Salih Cizel has a gallery and studio in Lapta where he produces wonderful work depicting local scenes. He also tutors a group of budding 'Artists' on Wednesday mornings. Go along and have a look, you will be impressed.

Hi Lapta Gal

Come off the coast road at the first Lapta sign coming from Girne, drive on to the next T Junction turn right , carry on up into the village pass the flower shop on your left and take the next sharp left , drive up and park up outside the shop 100 mts along. The Studio / Gallery is around the corner to your right. It is open most days.
