When we were out there in August, we visited the Chateau Lambousa Saturday market. There is an English lady artist who sells her paintings (she lives in Ozankoy) - Pam Schofield.

She creates a limited amount of prints from her originals, and sells them framed or unframed at a very reasonable cost. The type of paintings are NC landscapes, Girne harbour, Bellapais Abbey, Turtles etc. - Definitely worth a look ! Two now have pride of place in our villa.

Its the art and craft market at chateau lambousa hotel. It is the other side of Alsancak (from Girne) towards Lapta. Turn right (away from the sea down the road signposted Lapta) - it is the turning after the main Lapta turn with the waterpark signpost. The market is a set up - and as I said, Pam Schofield is definitely worth a look for nice local pictures !
