| I'm thinking of hiring a car at Larnaca airport. Can anyone tell me the cost of insurance at the border for 3 weeks?

| 25euros at Pyla. very easy process. Husband did this trip on the 10th Dec. However, be warned, customs are extra viligant and searched all their suitcases on the return trip ...nothing for them to worry about, just a little hassle.
We found Andys Motors to be excellent: car waiting at the airport and a good hire rate too! |

| dreamydiver suitcases checked in south plated hire car ? not been checked last 7 times in last 3 years not even moved out there hut at metahan. maybe new crack down. |

| Yes 25 Euros for one month, I use Minerva at Methan crossing. Have been back and forth many many times and never been checked (but of course there is always a first time) However prior to getting your insurance you need to get a tax document (next office to insurers), this lasts for 12 months. I think (but cannot truly remember, this cost about 10 euros). |

| If you are using the Pergamos/Beyamudu crossing point the cost is €25 for 1 month. On your return, you will encounter SBA (British-controlled) Customs control, not GC. Hope this helps. Enjoy your stay. |
