Awarded £200,000. Has anyone ever received their monies from these successful court cases?

if Geoff puts a memorandum on the builder's property then perhaps he might have a chance eventually

Message 9, yes.

Now perhaps we can look forward to having no more misleading postings purporting to show through 3rd hand information, that you cannot win a case against a builder here.

Elkiton...msg 13

I hear what you are saying, but not everyone has the tenacity to endure 65 court appearances in the name of simple justice.

Any previous criticism levied at the TRNC legal system is unfortunately still valid and relevant.

Elkington

the Judge may have found in favour of the defendant in this case but will justice actually be achieved ie the monetary award. I fear your exultation may be somewhat premature. I sincerley hope your optimism is fulfilled. I won't hold my breath!

The exclusive was saved for Cyprus Today so Pauline did not have the full facts yesterday.

The Judge awarded Geoff and Mary their money back plus £200,000 compensation. The total award being then in the region of £307,000, The Judge is alleged to have asked Geoff and Mary if there was anything else they wished to claim for? Being awarded and receiving are two different things, but it is a step in the right direction.

IRONICALLY, It is the same Judge who refused K5 the interim injunction the previous week.
