| Has any one made any? I keep looking up recipes on the net, but they vary so much - some using yeast, others not etc etc. Has anyone got a tried and true recipe? Now that real ginger is so readily available - I would love to give it a go!! |

| the Crows Nest Pub in Karaman were selling home made ginger beer all summer as its more of a summer drink the best way i think is the fast method using grated ginger and lemon juice sugar and water then adding a tiny bit of dried yeast last thing am sure i got a recipe somewhere |

| got the recipie, but it takes about 2 weeks, you need a starter..........non alcoholic can type it out for you |

| Thanks, I read about the "starter" but a lot of the recipes made their own yeast after a couple of days in a bucket. You then strain it into clean plastic bottles and wait............ It just seemed a bit too easy if you know what I mean!! The summer ginger beeer is usually just ginger flavoured sparkling water (that is ginger syrup topped up). |
